Terms and Conditions

• This eGift Card will expire on the date indicated or until a $0 balance is reached, whichever occurs first.
• Only valid for use at Event Cinemas, BCC or Greater Union locations & online.
• Not valid for use at Village Cinemas. Not valid for use in ACT, Victoria or Tasmania.
• eGift Cards can be used for admission, or food & beverage items available from the Candy Bar, Scoop Alley, Set Cafe or Gold Class Bar, or online at eventcinemas.com.au.
• Booking fees apply for online cinema bookings.
• Do not share or disclose the barcode or PIN details to ensure your eGift Card remains secure.
• We cannot replace or refund lost or stolen eGift Cards.
• No refunds, other than those required by law, will be given after the date of purchase.
• eGift Cards cannot be reloaded with any additional dollar value & the validity date cannot be extended. Any balance remaining on the eGift Card after expiry date will not be available for use or change.
• If your purchase is more than the current credit amount available on your eGift Card, you can make up the full amount with another type of tender accepted in our cinemas.
• eGift Cards & any amount standing in credit on the eGift Card cannot be redeemed wholly or partially for cash & no cash advances can be made at any time, regardless of whether there have been one or more transactions on the eGift Card.
• The balances of several eGift Cards cannot be consolidated onto a new card.
• eGift Cards cannot be used for any Voucher, Gift Card or merchandise purchase through experiencethis.com.au, eGiftshop.eventcinemas.com.au, eventcinemas.com.au or at cinema box offices.
• eGift Cards will be void and will not be redeemable if they are defaced, mutilated, altered or tampered with in any way, or if the eGift Card barcode is illegible.
• This eGift Card cannot be sold or exchanged without the prior written permission of the Greater Union Organisation Pty Ltd (GUO). Any use of the company name, images or logos must have the prior written consent of GUO. GUO may subject eGift Cards to verification and security checks in its absolute discretion. GUO reserves the right to cancel any eGift Card, or the eGift Card scheme, for any reason at any time without notice. In these circumstances GUO may either provide a refund or a replacement of equivalent value unless it reasonably suspects fraud in relation to a eGift Card.

Book Online

1. After you have received your voucher code and 4 digit PIN number, go to: https://www.eventcinemas.com.au/sessions
2. Select cinema location, movie and session time
3. Select ‘I have a Voucher / Code’ and enter the voucher number and PIN individually for as many tickets as you want to book and then proceed
4. Select seats
5. A booking fee per ticket applies to all online bookings
6. Proceed to payment and confirmation screen
